제22회 제주 들불축제 22 청도 읍성 밟기 Cheongdo Eubseongbalbgi nd Jeju Fire Festival

1997년부터 개최되어 올해로 22회째를 맞이 하는 제주 들불축제는 제주시 일원에서 개최 되는 제주의 대표축제이다.

제주 들불축제는 소와 말 등 가축 방목을 위해 중산간 초지의 해묵은 풀을 없애고, 해충을 구제하기 위해

마을별로 늦겨울에서 초봄 사이 목야지 들판에 불을 놓았던 ‘방애’라는 제주의 옛 목축문화를 현대적 감각에 맞게 재현하여

관광 상품화한 문화관광축제로 들불 불씨 봉송 행사, 달집 만들기 경연 대회, 들불 봉송 퍼레이드, 불꽃 쇼, 오름 불놓기 등

제주 들불축제에서만 체험할 수 있는 프로그램들이 준비되어 있다.

The Jeju Fire Festival, which has been held since 1997 and marks the 22nd anniversary this year, is the representative festival of Jeju.

This festival is a cultural and tourism festival that commercialized the Jeju’s old wooden culture, Bangae, which was set on fire in the fields

of the pasture between the late winter and early spring in order to get rid of the old grassland for domestic animals grazing and saving pests.

There are programs that you can only experience at the Jeju’s Fire Festival, such as wildfire singing contests,

making daljip contests, wildfire parades, fireworks, and so on.
