기지시 줄다리기 민속축제 2018 

Gijisi Juldarigi Festival 2018

기지시 줄다리기는 지자체에서 시작된 것이 아니라 500년 전통을 자랑하는 민속축제다. 전통양식으로 제작된 줄로 진행되는

줄다리기를 메인으로 스포츠 줄다리기, 전국 풍물대회, 그네뛰기 등 다양한 볼거리가 준비돼 있다.

이색 줄다리기, 스탬프 체험 등 체험행사도 꾸며진다.

Rather than the creation of an autono-mous local government, like most festi-vals in Korea, the Gijisi Juldarigi Festival is a folk festival that began 500 years ago. The main event is the tug-of-war, which is done using a rope made in the traditional way, and is accompanied by a national farmer’s music contest, a tradi-tional swinging activity, and a “sports tug-of-war.”
